History

Ian Gordon Commercials was set up by Ian Gordon in 1987. Previous experience within MAN and Ford truck dealerships and an unrivalled knowledge of customers, coupled with hard work and a lifetime in the local commercial vehicle market place has meant that Ian Gordon Commercials has gone from strength to strength.

The Company has built an excellent reputation by delivering a sound and in some respects a unique service within the sales and repair industry which has promoted the Company to the forefront of the trade in South and Central Scotland.

Having established a highly successful business providing its services to the vehicle repair industry Ian Gordon's principle expertise lies in the service and maintenance of heavy goods and PSV vehicles on a regular basis.

The highly experienced work force combined with the service facilities which are housed within one of the most comprehensive custom built facilities in South West Scotland form the backbone of the Company. A number of ADR related companies and the movement of gas, oil and spirit are customers, the work force is trained to full ADR standard, as well as receiving training to all current legislation.

The emphasis is placed on maintaining a high standard of quality service such as would be expected from a Market Leader. All vehicles are serviced to a computer schedule system, which currently caters for the regular servicing of in excess of 300 trucks, buses, coaches, tankers and trailers, in other words total customer logistics.

Ian Gordon Commercials provides a complete maintenance management system programmed to conform to each client's unique individual requirement.
