Fully Licenced Dedicated Drivers

All of our operatives have Level 4 Security Training and Bi-Annual Tachograph update training in our own training facility on-site by our accredited external training provider. In addition all our fitters have the same for the provision of entry air-side for whatever requirement necessitates. Also full HazChem qualification is in place and random driving licence audit is a prerequisite of the granting of our ISO 9001:2008 accreditation.

Company Accreditation

Since the early days, the company have committed to full membership to the Freight Transport Association (FTA).

The Company is also a member of the Road Haulage Association (RHA) who provide a dedicated service for the haulage industry.

We are registered to BSI, our accreditation body a leading global provider of standards, management systems , business improvement regulatory approval information.

Quality Control

Within the group we function with four CPC holders to international qualification thus ensuring that there is always a professionally competent person available for whatever the eventuality and customer consultation.

Peace of Mind

We are fully insured through one of the worlds largest insurance companies Aviva, of whom we have held our business policies with for many years and fully comprehensive cover is in place for both Goods in Transit to recognised industry standards and compliance.

Comprehensive Road Risk, and indeed coverage for all services undertaken are complied with.

We further stringently implement all HSE requirements and indeed in many instances our own compliance procedures exceed the basic requirements.

Escort Vehicles

Ian Gordon Group provide a range of Escort Vehicles dedicated to escorting abnormal loads providing a highly visible presence in the immediate vicinity of the abnormal load as is required.

Our operatives are fully trained to Aviation Security Level 4 facilitating the ability to be permitted “airside”. Additionally we offer the provision of a second man for the purpose of known cargo movements.
